Okay, so you're probably wondering what's up with ALL of these graduation gifts...

Well, this year's seniors started at my school with me 4 years ago as Freshmen (duh.). The difference is that these kids started when I did -- I had taken over the teaching position from a well-loved and well-respected lady who retired after 30+ years, and took over for a director that the KIDS adored.

This group of kids never questioned me, my ideas, or my authority. They have been "my kids" from day one.  I wanted them to know how important that has been to me over the past four years. They all get a gift.
